Nevada Home Hospice’s volunteer program is always looking for committed and caring members of our community who want to volunteer for hospice help. Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team, filling roles that range from spending time with patients, sharing your special talents, lending a hand in our office, or assisting with events and fundraising.
Deciding to become a volunteer is a very special and rewarding decision. You will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. No matter your interests and hobbies, you can turn your favorite pastimes into meaningful, fulfilling moments. You decide how much time you are able to devote and we will match your interests and schedule. All it takes is a willingness to help. Hospice volunteers describe their work as gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful.
